Hanover, PA doesn't seem like the type of place you'd find a comedy club. Situated in South Central Pennsylvania and nestled between Gettysburg and York, it is often only associated with pretzels and potato chips. When Jim moved to the small city in 2007 he was sure his comedy dream was over. All it took was a little imagination, trust in others, and a ton of work to bring this idea into reality. As the downtown area has developed so has its need for entertainment. Church of Satire Comedy Club fulfills this need affordably. The anticipated opening was featured in the paper on the front page! The new entertainment option was also featured in Central Penn Business Journal, and a full spread in Southern PA Magazine. Well known for treating performers with respect, Church of Satire actively promotes new comedians and will pair them on shows with seasoned and successful performers. What started as a traveling show that occupied social venues like bars, dance floors, and even a magic shop, is now the show that has its own address and was featured on community television! We encourage you to see for yourself what a night of satire can do for YOU!
