Church of Satire Presents: Adam Gabel

Adam Gabel is quickly gaining attention among comedy fans across the country as "The Guy with The Voice and The Hat". His quick wit, charming stage presence and off kilter delivery have earned him frequent comparisons to Mitch Hedberg and Steven Wright. His musings alternate between silly and cerebral, keeping audiences guessing which direction he is about to go or just where his mind will take them. 

The Brooklyn Native began performing Stand Up Comedy in New York in 2014, and after just a few short years quickly became a fixture at clubs around the city, playing to packed houses at Broadway Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club and the city’s hottest new venues, West Side Comedy Club and The Grisly Pear Comedy Club. Adam has traversed the continent telling jokes, performing Stand Up Comedy in 38 States and 2 Canadian Provinces. In 2019 alone, Adam made people laugh in 22 States hitting all 4 Continental Time Zones, competed as one of the Top 101 Comics in the World Series of Comedy Main Event in Illinois and Headlined Shows at Wiley’s Comedy Joint & The Funny Farm in Ohio, The Improv Shop in St. Louis and Off The Hook Comedy Club in Naples, Florida. In his travels he has opened for Gary Gulman, Zarna Garg, Kevin Brennan, Ben Kroenberg, Myq Kaplan, Joe DeVito, and Dan LaMorte and performed alongside Jim Gaffigan, TJ Miller, Anthony Cumia, Judy Gold, George Wallace, Wali Collins, Judah Friedlander, Todd Barry, Laurie Kilmartin, Jessica Kirson, Big Jay Oakerson and Vanessa Hollingshead to name a few. Previous Festivals Credits include Winner of The Make Me Laugh - Albany Festival in 2016, Top 101 in the World Series of Comedy 2019 and 2020 and Featured Performer in the Hoboken Comedy Festival 2017, 2018 and 2019. Most recently he made his Feature Film debut in the comedy Tomorrow’s Today streaming on Amazon Prime and recorded his first Comedy Album October 2023 on Spoke Records.

When not performing or writing new material, Adam can be found in Brooklyn Parks feeding Quinoa to hipster pigeons.
