Church of Satire Presents: Haywood Turnpseed Jr

Well known throughout the DC Comedy Scene for his booming laugh, Haywood has performed at the Kennedy Center, the DC Improv, Brightest Young Things 'Bentzen Ball’, and has toured internationally.   Haywood has opened for Headliners like Tony Woods, Hannibal Buress, Sarah Colonna, Baron Vaugn, and Wyatt Cenac.   Along with performing as a Stand-Up Comic, Haywood also volunteers as a football, basketball, and baseball coach, in South East D.C. where he currently lives with his wife, their four children, and his mother. He also plays the saxophone, plays a mean game of pinball, and works full time, in Telecommunications, at the National Gallery of Art.
