CoS Presents: Ye Olde Den of Satire at Olde Mother Brewing Co.

Hanover PA's Church of Satire Comedy Club and Olde Mother Brewing Co. in Frederick, MD have come together for a night of socially distant stand up comedy! The pandemic has crunched us at home in Hanover but it has forced us to unfurl our comedy wings as a means to keep Headquarters open for business.  Join us on Veteran's Day for a night of comedy featuring comedians with military service on their resume. Enjoy the brew house beers and "Just Smokin Around" Food Truck!

Haywood Turnipseed Jr -  Well known throughout the DC Comedy Scene for his booming laugh, he has performed at the Kennedy Center, the DC Improv, Brightest Young Things 'Bentzen Ball', the Underground Comedy Festival, The Baltimore Comedy Festival, and has toured internationally. He's opened for Headliners like Tony Woods, Hannibal Buress, Sarah Colonna, Baron Vaugn, and Wyatt Cenac; he is the Comics Comic.  Along with performing as a Stand-Up Comic, Haywood also volunteers as a football, basketball, and baseball coach, in South East D.C. where he currently lives with his wife, their four children, and his mother. He also plays the saxophone, plays a mean game of pinball, and works full time as the Senior Telecommunications Specialist at the National Gallery of Art.
